”Impossible to fault. A great venue and we were really well looked after by Ian for our old vines tasting. The wines really are great, my boxes should be getting delivered any minute that I ordered. Try the Everest…. best wine I have ever had.”

”Couldn’t rate this beautiful place more highly if I tried, magnificent grounds with a friendly informative tour and tasting with the lovely Ross. Ended up buying a bunch of wine with the fulfilling feeling of knowing the story behind each. Highly recommend.”

”We had a lovely experience today visiting Chateau Tanunda. The grounds are very picturesque and reminiscent of some we’ve visited in France. The tasting was good value and generous, compared to others like Penfolds. Our wine hostess/server (Sharon) was knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel welcome. Thanks, Sharon! We recommend highly!”

”What a day! We booked the old vines tasting and had a dedicated server, Alex. What an exceptional afternoon. Wine was incredible, building was stunning and the service was on another level. Highly recommend this winery when you head to the Barossa. Thank you Alex and the team at Tanunda.”

”Beautiful surrounds outside and cosy ambience inside. We did a wine tasting with Alex, he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic while explaining the wine selections. We ended up purchasing their Tawny Port, some Shiraz and their sparkling Shiraz which only costs $15.00 to ship it home. Well worth the visit!”

”Had a lovely time at Chateau Tanunda. Vickie was a wealth of knowledge – not only related to the wine but also the history of this beautiful estate. We were very taken with her enthusiasm and love for Chateau Tanunda. All the staff were helpful and welcoming, and we particularly loved that cash was an accepted form of payment. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

”This is one of those grand venues in the Barossa worth seeing…. The property rescue a credit to the owner which is well presented with other history on the Chateau inside this impressive building. The ultra friendly staff at the tasting spoilt us with flexibility and generosity! Highly recommend dropping while in Tanunda.”

”What a wonderful experience! From the moment we walked into the cellar door, we were made to feel very welcome, even with two children in tow. We had Alex take us through a tasting, he was very knowledgeable and had a clear love for the wine. Highly recommend stopping in and paying the Cellar door a visit!”

”My sister and I dropped in to have a look and ended up having a fantastic time. After exploring the grounds, we entered the Chateau and was greeted by Bec. She explained a brief history of the chateau and then showed us where to view the history via wall art. Afterwards we decided to do some wine tasting and she was excellent! She answered all our questions (on the history of the chateau, about the wine making process, wine questions in general etc.). She was truly wonderful – laughing with us and providing absolutely outstanding customer service. Thank you Chateau Tanunda, we will be back.”
