Imperial (6 Litre): 50 Year Old Vines Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
$750.00 / bottle
Contains: 1 x 6 Litre Imperial Bottle of 50 Year Old Vines Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
These Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from this wine come from our single estate vineyard in the Bethany subregion of the Barossa. These low-yielding “Barossa Old Vines” were planted over 50 years ago and are now fully mature. They have a root structure and trunk thickness that encourage diversity of flavour and character. Vibrant dark fruit, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon aromas. An exotic and full-bodied palate driven by flavours of fruits of the forest, blackcurrant and a hint of savoury spice bound together by succulent fine-grained tannins. A wine of great length that will reward time in the cellar.

From vines in the heart of Bethany, small open fermenters, matured in French oak for 18 months. It's the great '17 vintage that makes this wine stand out, the cool season more suited to cabernet than any other red variety in the Barossa Valley. Drink by 2047
